Talk is cheap in this trade. Every company says they do careful work, but our customers in Alpharetta tell us the same thing after we finish: they didn’t expect the job site to look cleaner than when we arrived. Here’s what that actually looks like, transformation by transformation. These are the doors we’ve rebuilt, rehung, and replaced across Milton, Crabapple, Windward, and downtown Alpharetta.
Styles & brands we work with

Recent Transformations
Spring Failure on a 16-Foot Steel Door in Windward
Before
AfterThe problem: a 12-year-old torsion spring let go at 6:40 a.m. on a Tuesday, leaving a full-size steel door dead on the tracks with the homeowner’s SUV trapped inside. What we did: replaced both springs as a matched pair (one was fatigued, the other was weeks behind it), inspected the cables for fraying, and rebalanced the door so the opener wasn’t fighting dead weight. The result: the door lifts with two fingers now, and it’s quieter than it’s been in years. Jesse Calder measured the spring cycle rating before we installed anything, so this pair is rated for roughly double the cycles of what came on the door originally.
Opener Motor Swap on a Clopay Door in Crabapple
Before
AfterThe problem: a chain-drive opener from the early 2000s rattled so loudly the homeowner could hear it from the nursery above the garage. What we did: pulled the old unit, installed a belt-drive LiftMaster with a rubber-reinforced belt, and added vibration isolation pads where the motor mounts to the ceiling. The result: you can stand in the garage while the door runs and hold a conversation at normal volume. The homeowner’s wife told us she noticed the quiet before she noticed the new keypad.
Rusted Bottom Panel Replacement on a Wayne Dalton Door in Milton
Before
AfterThe problem: years of Georgia humidity and a sprinkler head aimed slightly too far left had eaten through the bottom panel of a Wayne Dalton door. The rest of the door was solid, so a full replacement would’ve been wasteful. What we did: ordered a matching panel from Wayne Dalton, swapped it in, and installed a new bottom seal with an aluminum retainer that won’t rust. The result: the door looks factory fresh, and the homeowner spent about a third of what a new door would have cost.
Track Realignment After a Shelf Collision in Downtown Alpharetta

The problem: a homeowner backed a tall storage shelf into the vertical track while reorganizing, bowing the rail and popping a nylon roller out of its bracket. The door would bind halfway up and slam back down. What we did: removed the bent section, straightened the rail and re-anchored it, replaced the damaged roller plus its neighbor, and re-squared the entire track system. The result: the door runs true and smooth, and the homeowner got a clear explanation of why the safety sensors now sit at a slightly different angle than before.
Full Door Replacement on a 1990s Build in the Windward Golf Community

The problem: the original door was a single-layer steel panel, dented in three places, with an R-value close to zero. The garage sits under the master bedroom, and the homeowner felt the cold through the floor every January. What we did: measured the opening, ordered an insulated Clopay door with a steel exterior and vinyl backing, and installed new tracks, hinges, and weatherstripping to match. The result: the room above the garage is noticeably warmer, and the street-facing side of the house looks ten years newer.
Off-Track Door with Bent Roller Hinges in Crabapple

The problem: a teenager learning to drive hit the door with the car still in reverse, driving the bottom section off the track and bending three roller hinges. What we did: disengaged the opener, lifted the door back onto the rails, replaced the bent hinges and two stretched rollers, and then recalibrated the opener’s force settings and travel limits so it wasn’t working against a compromised assembly. The result: the door runs straight, closes flush, and the opener isn’t laboring. We also checked the door balance while we were there and found the springs were still in good shape.
